Sup Yoga

Experience Sup Yoga, a unique eco-friendly way to discover Portofino area while enjoying the perfect workout for your body, mind and soul. A calming but challenging yoga practice on stand-up paddle boards floating on the clear blue sea in Niasca bay!

You will meet your yoga teacher at the beach for an introduction and then take your SUP boards. Then, you will paddle off sea and attach to the buoy to stay stable in the current. You will be guided through a practice that starts slowly, letting you get used to the floating surface. Afterwards, you will move into an easy flow and end with relaxation. The practice of yoga actually has many health benefits, including increased muscular strength and flexibility, improved cardiovascular and respiratory function, aid in addiction treatment and recovery. It is also proved to lessen stress, anxiety and depression and promote an overall improvement in one’s quality of life and well-being.

SUP yoga engages the core muscles and strengthens various muscles that wouldn’t necessarily be used in a ground practice.
