Wine Tasting at Tenuta Masselina is a sustainable experience that takes place in an organic wine estate of 22 hectares, of which 16 are planted with vines. It is located in Castel Bolognese, 50 km southeast of Bologna, on hills between Imola and Faenza. Emilia Romagna is a land where food and wine traditions have a fundamental role to understand the region’s soul and identity!
At Tenuta Masselina, vineyards are farmed organically, and the estate uses solar and geothermal energy for its winemaking operations and for regulating the climate in the maturation cellars. During your visit at Tenuta Masselina, you will find an old farmhouse and barn, renovated in line with the highest standards of energy sustainability and refurbished to make them functional for the purposes of organising events and hospitality. Apart from wine, the property promotes wine tourism in the surrounding hills through dedicated projects. All these projects allow guests to enjoy various experiences in the beautiful Emilian countryside and the most westerly of the Romagna Sangiovese DOC. The richness of the soil is reflected in both the red wines and white wines produced here.
But what is a Wine Tasting at Tenuta Masselina? It is an experience that includes a tasting of its best wines, admiring the beautiful countryside and enjoying a guided tour of the Estate’s atmospheric locations, surrounded by vineyards, pines, cypresses and fruit trees all around. Choose among 3 different wine tastings and discover wines paired with typical gourmet food!
