Lake Como Horse Riding is a environment-friendly experience that will give you the amazing opportunity to explore a region filled with magnificent sceneries and mouthwatering culinary traditions riding a noble horse! During this incredible adventure you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the nature, riding a horse along the paths that encircle the high Lake of Como with views of the alluring Valchiavenna region.
The horse riding school has been founded in Colico a few years ago by a group of friends. Among them, there are some members of the Green Jackets Colicobody. They are volunteers on horseback which are involved in the care and protection of the territory, as well as searching for missing persons or animals.
But enjoy an amazing horse riding in the nature will not be the only focus of your sustainable experience! You will also try some local products and dishes of the typical Lombard cuisine (like “sciatt” or “pizzoccheri”), prepared with love by a local.
The experience is suitable for all the levels of expertise (beginners included). Children between 7 and 14 years old can take a horseback riding lesson in the equestrian center under the guidance of a qualified instructor. During the class, the presence of an adult is advised.
