Marettimo Residence is the only official hotel on Marettimo Island, still wild and almost inaccessible. In particular, the characteristics of the island require tourism to be eco-conscious in order not to compromise the already precarious balance between man and nature.

Marettimo, the wildest island of the Egadi archipelago, Sicily, has been defined the “Italia Red Sea” for scuba divers and fully meets the expectations of those who love to delve in the wilderness and navigate in pristine waters, with colours ranging from blue to turquoise to emerald green. Monte Falcone (686 meters) is perfect for who love to hike among the groomed trails surrounded by the rich Mediterranean maquis.

Marettimo Residence has been built with full respect for the environment and the typical houses of the island: furniture made of natural materials; solar panels for water heating; a purification plant for irrigation; UV debacterization for drinking water; the use of ecological detergents. The hotel offers 42 eco-friendly self-catering apartments of various sizes, each with its own private balcony. It is across the road from the only sandy beach and just 200 meters from the port. In addition, the typically Mediterranean garden of the residence is equipped with a gazebo, barbecue, swimming pool with hydromassage tubs.
