Lazzaro 1915

Located in Pontelongo, Padova, Lazzaro 1915 has been the house of the Siviero’s family for more than a century. Piergiorgio, Daniela and Diletta still run the restaurant like a family-business. They evolve, develop intuitions, and are aware that today’s cuisine is inseparable from what it was yesterday and indispensable for what we will be tomorrow.

The current path of the restaurant merges with the old traditions and aims to pass on the family culinary art by enriching it with new creative suggestions. Piergiorgio, young co-owner of the family business, after a period of preparation in prestigious restaurants in Italy and abroad, returned here at the beginning of the 2000s, next to the chef Dilva Siviero who for years managed the kitchen, as a co-chef who combines the old with the new, the memory of the past with the impulse towards the future.

Lazzaro 1915 is strongly committed to replacing plastic in the kitchen and it uses environmentally friendly detergents. Also, the major items on the menu are vegetables from two biodynamic gardens that are fertilised with organic waste. Additionally, the restaurant has a condensing boiler since 2008 for less energy loss. Restaurant Lazzaro 1915 is definitely worth a stop while traveling around Veneto!
