Agriturismo La Razza is a magical farmhouse in Reggio Emilia countryside, where the tradition of good Emilian living combines with unique products. A real working farm, where guests are greeted with a sincere smile. A place surrounded by the nature just a stone’s throw from the city where you can recharge and rediscover yourself.
The farm owes its name ‘La Razza’ to the fact that, in the past, it was home to a large equestrian centre. Nowadays, ‘La Razza’ is home to a wide range of farming activities: from the dairy farm to pork rearing, from the centre of operations to the fodder factory and cattle shed, from the vineyard to the lake and our most recent addition: the agriturismo.
La Razza Farmhouse offers 13 rooms and 4 mini apartaments located in two different buildings. “Scuderie”, the main structure, is moderne and sought; “Casale”, the depandance, is classic and rustic. From these accommodations you can admire different landscapes that vary from the vineyards to the nearby hills. Breakfast is served in a large and bright room that looks towards our vineyards at “Scuderie”.
During the years, the Agriturismo took a lot of actions promoted to protect the environment, including: production of electricity from photovoltaic panels; charging station for electric vehicles; domestic hot water heating by thermal solar panels; wastewater treatment with phytodepuration plants; differentiated waste collection; high energy efficiency in the accommodation area (A4) for lower natural gas consumption. The organic production at the farm is certified by Bioagricert: all cereals, legumes and the vineyard follow cultivation methods that respects the environment and the health of consumers.
